The DGN Fall Play, Blithe Spirit, tells the tale of cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine, re-married but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira who is called up by a visiting “happy medium,” one Madame Arcati. As the (worldly and un-) personalities clash, Charles’ current wife, Ruth, is accidentally killed, “passes over,'' joins Elvira, and the two “blithe spirits” haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity.
Performances begin at 7 pm on Thursday, September 30th, Friday, October 1st. As well as Saturday October 2nd at 1:00pm and 5:00pm in the Clarence Johnson Auditorium. Tickets are $10 adults at the door and free with a student ID.
