AP Art History to Art Institute

On Thursday October 30th the AP Art History class visited The Art Institute of Chicago to forge authentic connections with works studied in class.

This is the first year AP Art History has been offered at DGN. Special thanks is extended to Ms. Bernard for her coordination of the course curriculum and her leadership.

Band-O-Rama Tonight!

We are just hours away from our annual DGN Band-O-Rama Concert, featuring the Trojan Marching Band. DGN Musicians Garner 48 ILMEA District Honors

Student musicians from Downers Grove North High School earned an impressive forty-eight placements, by competitive audition, to the 2014 Illinois Music Educators Association District Band, Choir, Orchestra and Jazz Band. Auditions were held on Tuesday, October 14 at Carl Sandburg High School. The top placing scores were selected for participation in the DistrictMusic Festivals, to be held during the month
of November.

"Selection to the ILMEA All-District ensembles is a distinct honor for a high school musician," said Brayer Teague, Fine Arts Department Chairperson. "Our faculty is excited for these students who will now have the opportunity to collaborate with the most outstanding musicians in our region."

Senior Leadership

The 2014 "Bucket Game" was the final home on-field performance for members of the Class of 2015.  This year's Senior Class, combined, has dedicated 175 years of service to DGN.
