DGN Fine Arts and North High Theatre presents student-directed Winter One Acts on Thursday, Nov. 18th at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19th at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 20th at 5 p.m. The performances will take place in the Studio Theater (Room 248) at North High School (4436 Main Street, Downers Grove).
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students (outside D99), and free for D99 students with their school ID. Tickets can be purchased online at GoFans.com or at the door the night of the event.
Synopsis: Can actors perform the entirety of A Christmas Carol in under fifteen minutes? What would happen if you took shelter in a big cardboard box to hide from your boss? Will Mark ever get out of his rut and escape his “Philadelphia?” Does keening really help the grieving process? Can our actors stay calm as everything falls apart, literally, around them?
