The Alliance of Fine Art held their annual Student Scholarship Competition at the Naperville Art League this month.
Twelve art organizations, including our Downers Grove Artist's Guild, selected two student works to represent them at the show. Four student entries were chosen to receive the AFA Award of Excellence and a cash prize.
DGN senior Katilyn Almazan was one of the four winners, for her pastel drawing "Interconnection".
