Metal Clay Experience #99Learns

A recent grant from the District 99 Education Foundation provided a memorable series of art workshops focusing on Metal Clay, an art form developed in Japan in the 1990s. Metal Clay consists of microscopic particles of pure silver and a water-soluble binder that burns off during firing.

This two-day educational clinic was led by visiting artist Patricia Weikersheimer, recent President of the Windy City Metal Clay Guild.
