Scholastic Art Show: Suburban Chicago Regional Exhibition Grand Opening & Awards Reception

The Suburban Chicago Regional Affiliate - of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards - opened the 2017 Visual Art Exhibition today at Downers Grove North High School. Upwards of 1,500 patrons viewed the galleries this afternoon as families and educators celebrated the accomplishments of this year's award-winning artists.

A special thank you is extended to the volunteers of the DGN Fine Arts Boosters, as well as the DGS Friends of Fine Arts, for their coordination of the Awards Reception and the Judging Day Hospitality. Specifically we note the tremendous volunteerism of Ms. Ana Wilson who has been our DGN Fine Arts Boosters point-person for Visual Art Events for many years. Thank you Ms. Wilson!
