DGN Bands Present Back-To-Back Concerts This Week!

The students of the DGN Bands are pleased and proud to present two evening concerts this week, featuring five ensembles from North High, along with guest performances by the Jefferson Junior High School Band and Westview Hills Middle School Band.

Both concerts are free and open to the public.

DGN’s AP Computer Art Student Dean Darhussein has made the top 10 entries in the annual Illinois Tollway Map Contest!

More than 120 students from 25 schools throughout the region, from Chicago to Rockford, participated in the art contest.

Online voting will determine the 4 prize-winning finalists.

DGN Violist Lucie Boyd - New Philharmonic Orchestra Soloist

Congratulations to DGN junior violist, Lucie Boyd, on being honored as a soloist through the New Philharmonic Orchestra's Young Persons Concerto Competition.  Lucie recently performed with the New Philharmonic orchestra as a guest-soloist.

Trojan Spirit Shines Through Inspired Performances at Final Regular Season Football Game

Congratulations to the members of the Trojan Marching Band for an inspired performance on a beautiful October night.

The District 99 Fine Arts community celebrates Ms. Mullen's return to the classroom, and extends heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Mr. O'Connell for his musical leadership during the first eight weeks of the academic year.

Ms. Mullen, we are thrilled you are feeling better and we look forward to making music with you again.
