DGN Visual Artists Garner Six Awards at Chicagoland 4x5 Show

Congratulations to six DGN Visual Artists who received awards at the recent Chicagoland 4x5 Art Show hosted by Oswego High School.

In Sculpture, Ryan Martin received 1st prize and Jill Krejci received an Honorable Mention.

In Relief, Kyle Mitchell received 1st prize, Emma Gammonley received 2nd prize, and Sydney Garafalo received an Honorable Mention.

In Mixed Media Audrey Staron received 3rd prize.

The 4x5 Art Show forces student artists to work within the parameters of a less than ordinary dimension. This idea evolved so that more work could be shown, more schools could participate and more ideas could be born. The exhibition showcased over 1000 pieces, surpassing most Chicago galleries in quantity and grandeur.  Commonly known as the "biggest little art show," the 4x5 show returned to the Chicagoland region after a recent short hiatus and being reimagined by the Oswego High School Fine Arts Department.
